When you purchase an item from our Support Your Local Nurses collection, you're doing more than showing your support—you’re helping make a difference.

This collection was created to shine a light on the challenges Canada's nurses continue to face.  Nurses are being asked to do more with less—and they’re paying the price. Across Canada, nurses continue to face unsafe nurse-to-patient ratios, increasing workloads and a growing risk of violence in the workplace. At the same time, ongoing healthcare budget pressures and staffing cuts are placing even more strain on an already stretched system.

Nurses deserve safe working conditions, adequate staffing, protection from violence and the support they need to care for others without sacrificing their own well-being. They show up for us every day—it's time we show up for them.

Did you know? Boots on the Ground is there for nurses, too. 🥾

Boots on the Ground is an anonymous, confidential peer-support helpline for First Responders across Ontario—and that includes nurses! Available 24/7, the line connects you with trained serving or retired First Responders who understand the unique stress, trauma and experiences that can come with this work. As a nurse, you don't have to carry it alone. Sometimes, your first step toward support is simply talking to someone who gets it.
